This cave system is only even visible from the surface of the waves at low tide. Even then, it only appears as a gaping shadow in the cliffs right below the water's surface. At high tide, a swimmer may need to dive ten feet or more to enter the system.
However, once entered, the cave system is labyrinthine, with pockets winding up above the water's surface. Inexperienced cavers can easily get lost or trapped in the cave, particularly if the tides are rising. However, for those who know the caves well, it makes for an excellent place to hide from pursuit or conduct secret rituals.
