The bane of many librarians is how to store all the books; it seems that there are never enough bookshelves. With the help of a wizard, this library has come up with an innovative solution. The books have each been enchanted with a unique runic sentence on the inside cover, which patrons of the library can look up in a card catalog and then retrieve a special wand from the librarians to summon their books from where they oat, birdlike, in the center of the library's great dome. With the space on the floor and walls of the library no longer reserved for shelves, the space has been transformed into a reading area. Clusters of overstuffed chairs surround small wooden tables, and a small circulation desk has been turned into a tea and coffee station. Any side effects caused by reading books with such a complex enchantment on them are minimal, although a few concussions have been reported when a patron summoned a book while sitting too close to a neighbor.
