Trail Drafts are basic potions, commonly whipped up around campfires. They are rarely found for sale, except in frontier settlements at the fringes of polite society, because they are considered beneath the efforts of a "true alchemist". But Trail Drafts earn their title because of their quick preparation -- all checks may take place **during the same Long Rest**. Trail Drafts otherwise follow all standard rules for potions.
To make a Trail Draft, you will need access to two things: [Alchemist’s Supplies](https://a5e.tabletopbytheik.nl/compendium/items/alchemists_supplies) and ingredients. You cannot undertake this Campcraft Activity until you have ingredients, which you can acquire through the [[Gather Crafting Ingredients]] or [[Purchase Ingredients]] Campcraft Activity, or other methods, such as farming or stealing, at your GMs discretion.
With adequate apparatus and suitable supplies in hand, brewing a potion from the list below is an [[13-Journeys C7/Journey Activities/Journey Activities#Extended Tests|Extended Test]] with a Goal of 13. You must make three DC 13 Intelligence or Dexterity (Alchemist’s Supplies) Tests, using up one portion of ingredients.
