- **Find hidden paths:** The adventurer searches for open paths through terrain blockages. On a success, the group ignores overland travel penalties for non-magical difficult terrain in the current region. Note that this does not provide any relief from difficult terrain during turn-based action.

- **Avoid terrain hazards:** A successful check grants all characters an expertise die on all checks to avoid penalties or damage from the current terrain during overland travel. **Time:** The adventurer must spend the entire region on this activity.
