No adventurer is an island, and seeking the assistance of another person is often the most sensible choice.
Finding someone with a particular skill or knowledge is an [[Campcraft#Extended Tests|Extended Test]] with a Goal of 11. You must make three DC 10 Tests, using either Charisma or Intelligence ([[00-Balance Of Powers/3-Mechanics/6-Ability Scores/Investigation|Investigation]]).
**Time:** This activity takes 1 week.

**Critical Failure.** You offend the skilled person, and they not only refuse to help, but they sour all other locals against helping you. You will need to travel to a different settled area before finding the help you need.
**Failure.** The skilled person will help you, but they will need further convincing, such as through assistance with their own tasks, bribery, or a promise of your future aid.
**Success.** The skilled person is willing to help you with a minor task or perform a service.
**Critical Success.** As success, but the person takes a shine to you, and also helps you obtain a Boon or Discovery.
