During a Journey, characters can spend hit dice on healing, abilities with hit dice as the cost, or as an alternate method of recovering class abilities which reset on rests. Since Long Rests usually don't occur during a Journey, sometimes Medical Care is required.
**Time:** 1 week, limited to once per Journey, and note that characters may only recover one spent Hit Die outside of a Rest.

**Critical Failure.** The adventurer suffers a level of fatigue.
**Failure.** The adventurer regains no Hit Die.
**Success.** The adventurer regains 1 spent Hit Die.
**Critical Success.** The adventurer regains 1 Hit Die, and removes 1 level of fatigue.
