Those trained with alchemist’s supplies can identify and produce alchemical products, as well as study and potentially nullify the effects of substances. ![[masterAlchemistssupplies.jpg]] ### Components A journal of recipes, glass beakers held in a metal frame, metal flasks, at least 10 feet of thin copper tubing, glass stirring rods, a small mortar and pestle, a modified oil lantern that can be converted into a burner, and a heavy pack of well-labeled common alchemical ingredients, including salts, ethers, and alcohols. ### Special Uses **Applied Research.** You can use your alchemical knowledge to create a number of basic substances each day equal to your proficiency bonus. The list of items and cost is supplies are as outlined above for the basic tools, but your daily limit can be created during a short rest, or with 1 hour of work. **Breakdown.** Your skills with natural elements allow you to identify unknown substances. As part of a long rest, you can identify and document the components, effects, and properties of a substance, and determine how it was made. At the GM's discretion, you may also learn how to counteract the effects.
