Adventurers from the Ulakandar tribes embody the rugged independence and adaptability of their people. Warriors, deeply tied to the nomadic lifestyle, are common among the tribes, excelling in mounted combat and survival in the harsh environments of the plains and steppes. Fighters and Berserkers make up the backbone of Ulakandar adventurers, their skills honed in skirmishes against rival tribes or raids on settled lands. Rangers are equally prominent, masters of tracking and navigation across the vast, open landscapes.
The spiritual traditions of the Ulakandar also shape their adventurers. Clerics and Paladins are rare, as the Ulakandar often draw their power from their ancestors or spirits they revere, blending divine magic with their cultural focus on honour and heritage. Dervishes (q.v.), a unique form of warrior-priest, stand apart, guided by their faith to protect their tribes or pursue righteous causes.
Centaurs, though often at odds with the Ulakandar, can also appear as adventurers. These characters might hail from small, scattered bands seeking to escape the constant conflict or bridge the divide between their people and the nomads.
Ulakandar adventurers value freedom above all else, and their motivations often centre on preserving or expanding that liberty. Whether as a wandering mercenary, a defender of sacred sites like Tovag Baragu, or a seeker of fortune and honour in distant lands, Ulakandar characters carry the spirit of their people—fierce, independent, and deeply tied to the land.
