While there are no formal Adventurer Guilds in Ekbir, the adventuring lifestyle is not uncommon nor are adventurers viewed negatively within Ekbir’s borders. There are a number of ancient Flan ruins in the Udgru Forest and numerous warrens of caves that still remain largely unexplored in the Yecha Hills. Submarine adventure is also not uncommon in the warm waters of the Dramidj and *helms of underwater action* are in high demand in the markets of Ekbir City and Kofeh. Most non-humans in Ekbir are outsiders with the exception of the Genasi whom the Baklunish do not view as a separate species but rather as a humans touched by the elements. The halfling population of Ekbir lives almost exclusively in a number of farming villages around Ekbir City where they till the soil and provide much of Ekbir’s vegetable and fruit crops. Tusman dwarf merchants and craftsmen are common sights in Ekbiri towns and villages and there is a small Dwarven Ward in Ekbir’s Old City. A few Grugach clans inhabit the Udgru Forest but these are usually hostile to all outsiders. The Mouqollod are very active and hold great political sway in Ekbir. As such, they are often patrons to adventuring groups and they usually pay very well.
