This is an interesting combination in that there’s almost a presence of strong synergy and a lack of it at the same time. The wizard and sorcerer classes want to do similar things in some ways; they are both centered firmly around their spellcasting, have a minimal martial component, and have an enormous amount of overlap between their spell lists. Where they differ is that the sorcerer class wants to make the most of a few spells, whereas the wizard class tends to know an enormous amount of spells and will typically pick the ideal one for whatever problem they are trying to solve.
The flavor of the classes, with the sorcerer having their magic as an innate part of their being and the wizard getting their from study makes for a fascinating combination; here you have someone who can cast spells as a function of their personal nature and chose to undergo the rigorous academic study to learn more in the manner of someone who can not do that. It stands to reason that these are probably not only powerful spellcasters, but disciplined, driven people.
A stronger focus on sorcerer levels means a lot more versatility with fewer spells, where focusing on wizard levels will give the character a much more extensive repertoire of magic, but fewer ways to tweak and adjust it.
