This is definitely an experimental combination, but the flavor synergy is there. Probably the first question a lot of readers are going to have is “how do I even build this, assuming I want to?” The following method will probably work the best. For levels 1-7, use the same method as with any synergy feat build; advance two character classes to level 3 from levels 1-6 and then advance one to level 4 at character level 7, picking up the first feat. However, rather than advancing the second class to level 4 at character level 8, you’ll want to advance your third class to level 3. Then, at character level 11, advance one of your two classes currently at level 3, pick up another synergy feat, and then advance your third class to level 4 and grab the third prerequisite feat. At that point, pick one of the classes to bring up to level 8 and get the Paladin feat at character level 16. On balance, the two most effective level 20 options are probably going to be 4 levels of herald, 4 levels of cleric, and 12 levels of fighter or 4 levels of fighter, 4 levels of herald, and 12 levels of cleric. With three classes in the mix, the flavor can be all over the place, as can play styles. Planning ahead and thinking carefully about what features are most desired is strongly advised.
