Adepts and druids both benefit from a strong Wisdom ability score, but the adept has a much stronger desire for physical ability scores than the druid class (can largely get those via wild shape) does. Flavor-wise, it’s a mix of synergy and conflict. The adept is a martial class at its core, with any spellcasting coming in via an archetype with tertiary casting and the druid is both a full caster and possessed of another key feature, Wild Shape, that scales with druid levels. Still, the general ambivalence toward equipment that the adept has feeds well into the restrictions on it in the druid class. Who cares if you’re not allowed to wear the best armor when you’re unlikely to want it in the first place? The mobility and athleticism of the adept class also comes in very handy in the wilderness, allowing the character to shimmy up trees, vault over chasms, and so on. When building this character, a focus on adept levels will give you a more nature-focused version of the adept class with a few outright mystical abilities to complement their powerful martial training and discipline. Focusing more on druid levels will give you a denizen of the wilds who can move around their environment like one of the beasts who lives there without taking the shape of one. An even mix will likely wind up being a mystical warrior tied strongly to some aspect(s) of nature. Any of the options can easily be made stealthy as well.
