Not all summoners are devoid of personal magical talent.  Indeed, many wizards, priests, cultists, and others of only middling magical talent and skill turn to summoning as a way to supplement and enhance their abilities.  If they cannot wield the magic themselves, they’ll get help from those that can. ### Spellcasting (3rd level) Starting at 3rd level, you have gained access to more traditional spellcasting. #### Cantrips At 3rd level, you know two cantrips of your choice from the [druid spell list](https://a5e.tabletopbytheik.nl/compendium/spells?sources%5B%5D=adventurersguide&sources%5B%5D=dungeondelversguide&sources%5B%5D=agentofthemagus&sources%5B%5D=arcanesniper&sources%5B%5D=hakanspamphlet&sources%5B%5D=tosaveakingdom&sources%5B%5D=moarcomplete&sources%5B%5D=mortalist&sources%5B%5D=multiclassersmanual&sources%5B%5D=mysteriousandmarvelousmiscellanea&sources%5B%5D=spellsfromtheforgottenvault&sources%5B%5D=toilandtrouble&classes%5B%5D=druid). These spells count as summoner spells for you. You learn an additional cantrip at 10th level. #### Spell Slots The Conjuror Spellcasting table+ shows how many spell slots you have to cast your spells of 1st-level and higher. To cast one of these spells, you must expend a slot of the spell’s level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a long rest. +[Standard tertiary spellcasting](https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/g1r04wgn4zb1f4fs2hcla/MMv1-TertiarySpellcasting.pdf?rlkey=b1tv5o74dzzj2d7izd1pkt0yg&st=alol1l5j&dl=0) #### Spells Known of 1st-Level or Higher Choose one of the following spell lists: [cleric](https://a5e.tabletopbytheik.nl/compendium/spells?sources%5B%5D=adventurersguide&sources%5B%5D=dungeondelversguide&sources%5B%5D=agentofthemagus&sources%5B%5D=arcanesniper&sources%5B%5D=hakanspamphlet&sources%5B%5D=tosaveakingdom&sources%5B%5D=moarcomplete&sources%5B%5D=mortalist&sources%5B%5D=multiclassersmanual&sources%5B%5D=mysteriousandmarvelousmiscellanea&sources%5B%5D=spellsfromtheforgottenvault&sources%5B%5D=toilandtrouble&classes%5B%5D=cleric) , [druid](https://a5e.tabletopbytheik.nl/compendium/spells?sources%5B%5D=adventurersguide&sources%5B%5D=dungeondelversguide&sources%5B%5D=agentofthemagus&sources%5B%5D=arcanesniper&sources%5B%5D=hakanspamphlet&sources%5B%5D=tosaveakingdom&sources%5B%5D=moarcomplete&sources%5B%5D=mortalist&sources%5B%5D=multiclassersmanual&sources%5B%5D=mysteriousandmarvelousmiscellanea&sources%5B%5D=spellsfromtheforgottenvault&sources%5B%5D=toilandtrouble&classes%5B%5D=druid), [warlock](https://a5e.tabletopbytheik.nl/compendium/spells?sources%5B%5D=adventurersguide&sources%5B%5D=dungeondelversguide&sources%5B%5D=agentofthemagus&sources%5B%5D=arcanesniper&sources%5B%5D=hakanspamphlet&sources%5B%5D=tosaveakingdom&sources%5B%5D=moarcomplete&sources%5B%5D=mortalist&sources%5B%5D=multiclassersmanual&sources%5B%5D=mysteriousandmarvelousmiscellanea&sources%5B%5D=spellsfromtheforgottenvault&sources%5B%5D=toilandtrouble&classes%5B%5D=warlock), or [wizard](https://a5e.tabletopbytheik.nl/compendium/spells?sources%5B%5D=adventurersguide&sources%5B%5D=dungeondelversguide&sources%5B%5D=agentofthemagus&sources%5B%5D=arcanesniper&sources%5B%5D=hakanspamphlet&sources%5B%5D=tosaveakingdom&sources%5B%5D=moarcomplete&sources%5B%5D=mortalist&sources%5B%5D=multiclassersmanual&sources%5B%5D=mysteriousandmarvelousmiscellanea&sources%5B%5D=spellsfromtheforgottenvault&sources%5B%5D=toilandtrouble&classes%5B%5D=wizard). You know three 1st-level spells of your choice from your chosen class’ list, except you cannot choose *find familiar*, any spell listed under Call Summons, or any other spell that summons creatures such as *conjure animals*; your Narrator is the final arbiter on if a spell counts.  The Spells Known column of the Conjuror Spellcasting table+ shows when you learn more spells of your choice from this feature.  Each of these spells must be of a level  for which you have spell slots. Additionally, when you gain a level in this class you can choose one of the spell you know from this feature and replace it with another spell from your chosen list of a level for which you have spell slots. +[Standard tertiary spellcasting](https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/g1r04wgn4zb1f4fs2hcla/MMv1-TertiarySpellcasting.pdf?rlkey=b1tv5o74dzzj2d7izd1pkt0yg&st=alol1l5j&dl=0) #### Spellcasting Ability Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for your summoner spells. You use your Wisdom whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Wisdom modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a summoner spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one, and for setting the saving throw DC of a summoner feature.  **Spell Save DC** = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier **Spell Attack Modifier** = your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier ### Conjuration Mastery (6th level) At 6th level, choose an additional option from the Minor Conjuration and Lesser Conjuration abilities. In addition, any spell you can cast via the Minor Conjuration and Lesser Conjuration abilities of a level you have slots for can be cast using spell slots. ### Magical Focus (14th level) Starting at 14th level, you have learned to blend together the magic you cast with that you draw from your summons into a more singular whole.  You may pay 25 hit points per spell level to use Conjured Spellcasting to cast spells known from this archetype.  You may also cast spells available through Conjured Spellcasting with your current summons using slots at a cost of one slot higher than normal. ### Casting Symbiosis (18th level) At 18th level, you may choose one of the following benefits which is only active while you have at least one creature from Call Summons present. #### Symbiotic Wards You gain an expertise die on concentration checks and saving throws against spells and magical effects. #### Symbiotic Destruction You gain an expertise die on spell attack rolls and add your Wisdom modifier to one damage roll of any Conjuror spell you cast using spell slots or spell points.
