You can speak, read, write, and sign the Ignan dialect of Primordial ## Thermodynamics (1st Level) Starting at Level 1, you gain an enhanced mastery over sources of fire and flames. You learn the Produce Flame cantrip. As a reaction, when a creature within 30 feet of you casts a spell or spell-like effect that deals fire damage, you can absorb part of its heat. The fire damage dealt by the spell is reduced by an amount equal to your sorcerer level. The absorbed heat is stored within you as energy, up to a maximum amount equal to three times your sorcerer level. You can unleash this stored heat as you see fit when you cast a spell that deals fire damage, dealing additional fire damage equal the amount spent. Absorbing heat beyond your maximum capacity causes you to overheat, dealing the excess damage to yourself as the excess energy is lost, and causing you to be encumbered until the end of your next turn. ## Spark of Life (6th level) Starting at 6th level, you begin to harness the life-giving properties of fire. Over the course of a strenuous day-long ritual, you bring life to a new creature companion, gaining one level of fatigue and strife per day. The creature is a loyal, up to CR 1 creature of the type Beast, Dragon, Elemental, Monstrosity, Fiend, or Plant. The creature you have created can understand you in any language, and does not come into existence with any items or equipment. The creature may be reformed or reshaped even after death by performing the ritual again, spending consecutive days per CR of the creature created. The maximum CR creature you may create increases by 1 at 10th level, and again at 16th level. ## This is Fine (14th level) At 14th level, you find yourself at ease even within the most intense infernos. You gain immunity to fire damage and are unaffected by the effects of extreme heat. Additionally, you can choose to radiate heat like a campfire. You shed bright light in a 15-foot radius and dim light for an additional 15 feet. This heat warms the surrounding area, nullifying the effects of extreme cold within the light's radius, and can be used to ignite small fires, such as candles, torches, or kindling. ## Mythic Phoenix (18th level) At 18th level, you harness the powers of the legendary elemental bird, the Phoenix. As an action, you can transform into the form of a Phoenix, becoming a Large Elemental (Giant Eagle) gaining a flight speed of 80 feet and advantage on Perception checks that rely on sight. The transformation lasts until it is dismissed, or you reach 0 hit points. You no longer need to eat, drink, breathe, or sleep; If you die, your body bursts into flames, turning to ash after 10 minutes and reforming after 1d4 days. Finally, once per year, you can use the Phoenix’s power to replicate the effects of the Resurrection spell without needing material components.
