Particularly for those who intend to use a class other than esper with a psionic archetype that won’t ‘kick in’ until level 3, but desire to play a psionic character from level 1. # Psionic Gifts and Paragon Powers ## Dragonborn Dragonborn are often of untraceable bloodlines mingling various colors and materials of dragons together. But the crystal mind gift is for those descended from gemstone dragons. #### Crystal Mind Descending from a line connected to the gemstone dragons gives you a psionic advantage. - You gain resistance to psionic damage - You gain telepathy with a range of 30ft - Once per short rest you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on a concentration check caused by damage you have inflicted. #### Diamond Mind Paragon You’ve become an exemplar of what it is to be a Crystal Mind Dragonborn, and your inherent powers improve dramatically. - You are immune to psionic damage - Your Telepathy now extends out to 120ft - Creatures that fail the save against your breath weapon are confused until the end of their next turn. ## Dwarf While dwarves are rarely psionic through wild talents or other native effects, they have been cruelly harmed in the past by dreaded monsters below the surface. Some of these experiments leave lingering effects on a bloodline. #### Delver’s Curse There are dark things in the deeper wells of the world, and their horror has left its mark on many bloodlines. - You gain the Body Manipulation power - At 3rd level you gain a reservoir with a single 1d4 psi die - At 5th level you gain a second 1d4 psi die - Your manifestation ability is Intelligence or Charisma, chosen at level 1. #### Curse to Strength Paragon After so much hardship your skill in using the curse you were burdened with has made it into quite an asset. You gain the following benefits. - Your psi dice increase to d6s. - You gain a third psi die. ## Elf Elvers are often tied to the Arcane. But the fey realms are where dreams may be forged. And for some, that power is closer. #### Mysticism Your bloodline stretches backward into a realm of dreams and nightmares, providing you with the following benefits. - You gain the Telepathy power - At 3rd level you gain a reservoir with a single 1d4 psi die - At 5th level you gain a second 1d4 psi die - Your manifestation ability is Intelligence or Charisma, chosen at level 1. ### Feywalking Paragon Your powers grow, allowing you to walk in other worlds. - You gain the Planeswalking power - Your psi dice increase to d6s. ## Human Humans are an unpredictably adaptable people, and psionics are no different. At narrator discretion, any heritage may take the Wild Talent gift. #### Wild Talent Psionic power sometimes simply occurs at random. - You gain the Telekinesis or Telepathy power - At 3rd level you gain a reservoir with a single 1d4 psi die - At 5th level you gain a second 1d4 psi die - Your manifestation ability is Intelligence or Charisma, chosen at level 1 ### Wild Paragon Your talent grows in strength with time, and expands. - You gain the Telekinesis or Telepathy power - Your psi dice increase to d6s
