There are 3 "levels" of alchemical creations available to you, and all require access to - During a long rest, you have the option to take the [[Alchemy, Trail Draft]] Campcraft activity - As a Journey Activity or a Downtime Activity, you can create Common or Uncommon potions using [[13-Journeys C7/Journey Activities/Alchemy, Simple]] - For crafting potions of Rare, Very Rare, or Legendary rarity, you must take the [[Craft (Alchemy) Oldie|Craft (Alchemy) Old]] **downtime** activity.
